Dominika Lastovickova, Ph.D.

Scientific Advisor

Dominika is a scientific advisor with research experience in organic, polymer, and materials chemistry. Dominika received two bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and earned her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Dominika’s graduate research focused on small molecule activation using isolable carbenes and the development of novel redox-switchable catalysts for externally-controlled polymerizations and other chemical reactions. Dominika also performed a portion of her thesis work at UNIST in South Korea as a visiting researcher.

After receiving her doctorate, Dominika was an ORISE postdoctoral research fellow at U.S. Army Research Laboratory where she worked on the synthesis of robust 2D polymers as well as bio-based materials for stereolithography 3D printing. Dominika also conducted a summer internship at the University of North Carolina Office of Commercialization and Economic Development.
